Hello, travelers and vacationists! It’s December again. How’s it going? Busy traveling and enjoying the vacation? Good for you.
My family and I were quite busy with school and work. My dear husband has a lot of stuff going on in his office. As a Senior Software Engineer, he has to make sure all the developments on their new testing tool is accurately working before being off for the holidays.
The plan of going to Michigan to visit his best friend and family didn’t go through this year (again). Well, because, a major repair had been supervised. Remember the big hail in March? My daughter and I were not actually here in Texas when that big hail storm happened because we were vacationing in the Philippines. That hail did a lots of major damage in some homes and establishments in Wylie and surrounding areas. Luckily our roof just had few shingles flipped. But of course, we had to have it fixed and replaced. So that’s the huge thing that we had to take care of this year. In addition, me and my daughter had been under the weather since we arrived home from our vacation. We ran a fever and it was on and off. Didn’t have infections of some kind (thanks to God)…it’s just some virus going around. Nasal and chest congestion bothered us for about two weeks. So awful. With proper medicine, it went away.
This year’s cold season seems like sickness gets us whenever there’s a chance. We are doing our best to stay healthy as possible all year long. It sucks being sick because you’re not able to travel or do anything fun.
